Format of the UCAT

The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) is a two-hour test which assesses several skills that Medical Schools and Dental Schools deem essential.

The UCAT is two hours in duration, and it is divided into five sections: Verbal Reasoning; Decision Making; Quantitative Reasoning; Abstract Reasoning; and Situational Judgement. The questions are presented in a multiple-choice format.

With over 1200 questions, we hope that UCAT candidates find this online resource an essential “must‐have” in their preparation for the UCAT. It provides the opportunity to refine and optimise techniques to answer questions effectively due to its wide range of exercises and levels of difficulty. This makes it the consummate preparation tool yet for those who want to achieve a high score and maximise their chances of getting into the medical or dental school of their choice.
