This inaugural International Academic and Research Conference is aimed at encouraging motivated and ingenious medical students and junior doctors from all over the world to attend and present their work to their peers. The conference will provide the forum for attendees to share interesting clinical observations and innovative ideas with their colleagues, and encourage exchange of information from all corners of the globe. It is also envisaged that this assemblage will provide the opportunity for the attendees to interact and network with like-minded colleagues from various countries.

     The day will comprise of a number of oral presentations interspersed with keynote lectures from accomplished and distinguished Clinicians, Academicians, Researchers and Clinician Scientists. In addition, there will a session during the day for the students to present their work in the form of a ‘poster’.

     There will be a variety of prestigious prizes on offer that will be awarded not just for cutting- edge research or pioneering work but also to audits that changed clinical practice or to simple innovations/designs of medical devices that have an impact on clinical care.

     Selected abstracts and the prize winning paper will be published in relevant journals.

     The conference is intended at instilling medical students and junior doctors with the inspiration, awareness, comprehension and confidence to achieve remarkable and ground- breaking medical inventions and discoveries in the years to come. All the above will ultimately benefit patient care and humanity!
